Sustainability agenda

Through our sustainability agenda, we can reach our goal of reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030. We can break down our sustainability agenda into six parts:

Environmental management

  • Reduce our carbon footprint by implementing energy-efficient practices and investing in renewable energy sources.
  • Minimize waste generation and increase recycling and composting initiatives in our operations.
  • Encourage the use of sustainable materials and responsible sourcing in our supply chain.

Social responsibility

  • Contribute to diversity and an inclusive work environment that values equality, respect and opportunity for all employees. Read more about how we work with diversity here.

  • Supporting communities through collaboration and initiatives that contribute to education, health and well-being. Among other things, we are Gold Sponsors of Team Rynkeby, which raises money for organizations that help seriously ill children. Read more about Team Rynkeby here.

  • Ensure fair labor practices and safe working conditions in our operations and supply chain. Find out more about our partnerships and networks here.

Responsible sourcing

  • Engage in responsible sourcing by prioritizing suppliers and partners that comply with ethical and sustainable standards.

  • Promote transparency and traceability in our supply chain to ensure that products are sustainable.

  • Engage with suppliers to improve sustainability practices and drive positive change.

Customer engagement

  • Making our customers aware of sustainable choices and their impact on the environment.

  • Offer sustainable product options and educate customers about their benefits.

  • Listen to customer feedback and improve our sustainability performance based on their needs and expectations.

Innovation and research

  • We invest in training for our staff to develop and implement sustainable solutions and technologies. Our Guardio brand is collaborating with, among others, biomechanical engineers at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and neurosurgeons at Karolinska Institutet to develop the world's first safety helmet equipped with the MIPS safety system.

  • We work with partners, universities and research institutions to innovate and better address sustainability challenges. Our Guardio brand is leading the way, working closely with our partners MIPS and Twiceme, for example, to develop innovative safety solutions for our safety helmets.

  • We encourage creativity and provide resources for sustainability initiatives within the company.

Continuous improvement and reporting

  • We work continuously to measure our targets to drive progress in our sustainability initiative.

  • We monitor and evaluate our work on a regular basis, and report openly on our sustainability efforts through, for example, our website.

  • We are engaged in external certifications to validate and improve our sustainability performance. Read more about our certifications here.
